OMG, Lashes To Die For!

I’ve loved makeup for as long as I can remember.  Sneaking into my mom’s bathroom to try out her eye shadows and lipsticks became a daily ritual for me.  As I grew up and soon started buying my own makeup, I fell in love with the whole process.  Testing eye shadows at the beauty counter, trying a new lipstick, finding the perfect bronzer that would give me that “I just came back from the beach” sun kissed glow.  To me, there was nothing better.  But while I pored over beauty magazines and obsessed over the newest nude palate, I never gave much thought to mascara.  I wore it, I liked it, but it was never something that I obsessed over.  People have always told me they loved my blue-grey eyes, and i did my best to make them pop, lining them, finding the most complimentary shadows but that was it.  I guess I resigned myself to the fact that even though I had pretty eyes, I would always have short, stubby lashes.  I wasn’t planning on getting lash extensions so I just accepted my fate.  

As I got older, I tried every mascara to try in vain to make my lashes look longer and fuller.  From drug store brands to higher end mascaras from Sephora, I think I have literally tried them all.  So when I was asked to try “Lashes to Die For” by Peter Thomas Roth, I didn’t have high hopes.  I had tried them all, so how would this one differ? My skepticism quickly became awe, as this is probably the best mascara I have ever used!

Lashes to Die for is one of the few mascara’s I’ve tried that conditions my lashes while giving them massive volume.  I can use multiple coats to create seriously dramatic lashes and it doesn’t clump or flake.  The mascara feels amazing on my lashes because it is loaded with nourishing and softening ingredients and it shows.  I love the fact that this formula doesn’t have things like Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances or Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs or Triclosan so I feel like I’m getting amazing mascara without all of the garbage that usually comes with it.  My lashes feel better, look better and my mascara is still intact, even after a long workday or crazy party.  All in all, this is by far and away, the best mascara I have ever used.  My lashes have never looked better and finally, my blue-grey eyes are given the recognition they deserve!
